LSPs and the Public Sector
A wide range of public sector agencies are expected to be involved in LSPs, including local authorities, the Police and the National Health Service (NHS). From local government, both councillors and officers are expected to play a central role. The public sector membership of the North Lincolnshire Strategic Partnership includes the Chief Executive of North Lincolnshire Council, the Chief Executive for the North Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust, the Area Director from the Learning & Skills Council, the Acting Divisional Commander of ‘B’ Division of Humberside Police and the Operations Commander of Humberside Fire and Rescue. The Leader of the Council also provides political representation.
